Q: I have an ATI Radeon based card, and the colors are awful, with banding everywhere. How do I fix this?
A: ATI has had a lot problems with their OpenGL drivers. Open your ATI display panel, and access the OpenGL settings. Change the Texture Quality setting to Highest Quality. Some ATI driver versions do not work properly with OpenGL. This problem has been corrected on Catalyst drivers 4.x, and higher. Also, check your video settings. Your display should be set to 32 bit, or True Color. Then, configure your screensaver to run in 32 bit mode.
Q: Where do I download OpenGL drivers?
A: Windows 98 and later already have support for OpenGL built in to the operating system. The drivers that support the latest OpenGL standard are included with your video card's drivers. If you install the latest driver package, you should be up to date.
